The NYC-based vegan restaurant recently announced an infusion of capital – $31 million to be exact!

With the new influx of cash, the company is planning a major expansion into more US cities and even international locations. “The goal from day one was to bring vegan food to the masses and make it as accessible and as fun as possible,” co-founder Samantha Wasser told media outlet Moneyish.

Their first restaurant debuted in New York City’s West Village and has since opened locations in Los Angeles, Boston, and London. They plan to expand to 20 additional United States-based locations, along with outlets across Europe and the Middle East.
