Cajun Tofu Bites
Yummmmmm… I love tofu, I love cajun flavors, I love anything bite-sized, I also love sloths but that is a bit irrelevant. Party guests won’t be able to get enough of their finger-licking, lip-smacking awesomeness! Give them a taste of these and get them a “I Love Tofu” shirt because they surely will after trying these snazzy little gems. You can thank me later.
Preparation Time: 15 – 20 minutes
- 1 cup extra firm tofu, diced
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/3 cup soy or other plant milk
- Big pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tsp dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning
- Few dashes of oil to fry
In a bowl, add the flour, soy milk, salt and pepper, mustard, nutritional yeast and Cajun seasoning. Whisk until combined.
Add the diced tofu to the bowl and toss to coat.
In a frying pan on high heat, drizzle oil in the pan and allow to heat.
Fry the tofu in batches in a single layer until browned on all sides.
Season with salt and serve immediately. They’re great on top of rice!
Enjoy the deliciousness!
