Avocado and banana cream

Easy and delicious–what’s not to love? Ripe bananas, creamy avocado, and cocoa create the perfect base for your favorite toppings. Add a sprinkle of chopped nuts, fresh banana slices, or a handful of berries for an extra pop of color. 

Ingredients

  • 2.0 tbsp. coconut oil
  • 2.0 large, very ripe bananas
  • 1.75 cups avocado, mashed
  • 3.0 tbsp. granulated sugar
  • 2.0 tbsp. cocoa powder
  • 0.25 tsp. vanilla extract

Preparation

 

  1. Melt and process: Melt the coconut oil and break the bananas into pieces. Add the avocado, sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla to a food processor with the coconut oil, then blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Chill and finish: Divide the mixture into 4 glasses and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
