Banana Bread
This banana bread is soft, moist, and naturally sweetened with ripe bananas and brown sugar. A hint of peanut butter adds richness, while dairy-free chocolate chips bring a touch of indulgence!
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1 tbsp. peanut butter
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- ½ tbsp. vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups wheat flour
- 1 ½ tbsp. baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 tbsp. sunflower seeds
- 2 tbsp. dried cranberries or milk-free chocolate chips
Preparation
- Prep: Preheat the oven to 350º F.
- Mash: Mash the bananas until pureed, then add the peanut butter and mix together.
- Mix: In a bowl, mix the sugar, oil, and mashed banana until there are no clumps.
- Sift & Combine: Sift the flour and baking powder, then add them to the mixture.
- Pour & Top: Pour the batter into a baking dish and sprinkle with sunflower seeds and cranberries or chocolate chips.
- Bake: Bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the bread comes out clean.
