Mango-habanero jam
Sweet, fruity, and fiery, this jam is a perfect balance of tropical mango and spicy habanero. Enjoy it on warm toast, swirl it into yogurt, or spread evenly on your pancakes.
Ingredients
- 1.1 pounds mango, peeled and pulped
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 habanero chili, thinly sliced (wear gloves)
Preparation
- Cook: Mango pulp over medium heat until it starts to boil.
- Stir: Add sugar and mix until dissolved.
- Simmer: Add habanero slices, reduce heat, and cook until the mixture thickens.
