Simple waffles
At Love Veg, we believe Saturdays and waffles were made for each other. That’s why we’ve created this plant-based waffle recipe, made with flour, sugar, and your favorite plant milk. Just mix, whisk, pour, and let your waffle iron do the rest—easy, delicious, and perfect with your favorite toppings!

- 2.5 cups flour
- .25 cups granulated sugar
- 2.0 tsp. baking powder
- .25 tsp. salt
- .75 cupa plant-based milk
- 2.0 tbsp. vegetable oil
- .5 cup unflavored sparkling water
- 1.0 tsp, vanilla extract
- fruit
- plant-based whipped cream
- vegan chocolate spread
Preparation
- Mix: Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.
- Whisk to combine: In a separate bowl, mix the milk, oil, sparkling water and vanilla. Using a whisk, gently stir the wet mixture into the flour mixture using a whisk.
- Pour and cook: Pour the mixture into a waffle iron and cook until done.
- Serve: Serve the waffles with fresh fruit, whipped plant-based whipped cream or vegan chocolate spread!
