Tofu chorizo tacos

- 1.5 cups extra firm tofu
- 2 tbsp. paprika
- .5 tbsp. ground white pepper (if you don't have white, use black)
- .5 tbsp. garlic powder
- .5 tbsp. onion powder
- .5 tbsp. salt
- 1.0 tsp. cumin powder
- 1.0 tsp. clove powder
- 4 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- tortillas, chopped cilantro and onion, lemons, and hot sauce
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350º F (175º C).
- Remove the tofu from the packaging, and let it drain. Without beating, break it apart with a fork in a medium bowl.
- In a container, mix all the ingredients except the tofu.
- Pour this mixture over the crumbled tofu, and mix well without beating.
- To make your crispy chorizo, place the tofu in the oven. Bake for 10 minutes or until you obtain a chorizo consistency.
- Heat the tortillas, and assemble your tacos. Add chopped cilantro and onion, hot sauce, and a few drops of lemon juice.
