Turkish delight chocolate cheesecake

Love Veg teamed up with comedian Carl Donnelly to create this rich, no-bake dessert. It’s creamy, chocolatey, and topped with rose petals for a floral finish.

 

Ingredients

  • 8.0 vegan graham cracker sheets
  • 2.0 tbsp. melted vegan butter
  • 2.0 ripe avocados
  • 1.0 tsp. rose water
  • 2.0 tbsp. cocoa powder
  • 2.0 tbsp. maple syrup
  • rose petals or chocolate shavings, to decorate

Preparation

 

  1. Crush and mix: Break the graham crackers into crumbs using a (non-plastic!) bag and a rolling pin. Then, mix with the melted butter.
  2. Layer: Spoon into a ramekin and set aside.
  3. Blend and assemble: Mix the avocado, rose water, cocoa, and maple syrup in a food processor. Spoon on top of the graham cracker base.
  4. Finish: Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes. Top with chocolate shavings/rose petals and enjoy!
